I started sketching during 2015. I sketch when I am relaxed and want further peace. I started out with a pencil and scraps of paper. My great friend Tas guided me towards ink, and I am forever grateful for his guidance and encouragement. Ink is less forgiving but infinitely more rewarding.
These are some of my sketches:
My First Sketch
(Just something I saw in the candle)

Bi-Poplar Tree
(We all have two sides)

Man vs Machine
(It’s a constant struggle)
San Francisco
(The best place to sketch, especially after an impromptu lesson with Paul Madonna)

Horses Butts
(I was always told not to stand behind a horse!)

Taking Your Elephant For A Walk
(Drawn with charcoal on some paper the boys made from elephant poo whilst in Goa)

Deco Dancing
(Let’s Dance – Put on your red shoes and dance the blues.)

Bridge House
(Yes it really does look like that!)
Eye Eye
(Do we see, or do we project?)

Fist
(I didn’t have any black paper to hand)

San Diego
(My favourite US city)

Coffee; Literally
(created out of the dregs)

Spray Art
(You should always try something new and different)

Exasperated
(Not a good look!)
Vegas Baby
(It was a long night!)
Billy
(One of my first scratches)
